Wilting flower garden

DSC00760
Went to visit a lab colleague who was admitted to a local hospital Thursday. Apparently nothing serious, so we were all relieved. I couldn’t help but notice the wilting flower garden that welcomed us in the lobby however. Dead flowers are never pleasant, and it is supposedly not a very good omen to bring flowers from a hospital to the home, even if the flowers still have life left. So everyone places their flowers in the lobby for someone else to deal with. Real and fake. Go figure.

Digg! delicious
