Fuji Rocked

Oh yes it did. Hard. Leaving work a tad early Thursday for a 1.5 hour shinkansen ride towards the mountainside, Andrew and I pitched our tent in what felt like a refugee camp (though with a rainbow theme). It was unfortunate that it rained for most of the weekend; I had to leave early Sunday — the one blue-sky day — as I was exhausted and pretty much had enough of the mud and crowds. But Friday and Saturday evenings being topped off with Underworld and Bjork respectively were definite highlights. Security was pretty tight about not taking pictures of the performances, so I had to be quick w/o a flash. I did manage to record a short of Danko Jones which I’ll post in a bit. Enjoy the pics though!
Update: Got around to posting a few short clips I made with my P-9 camera. Here’s one of Danko Jones, and here’s one of Will, Jeff, and me going a little crazy at 6:00 in the morning. You read that right — bright and early since Andrew had to run off to SIGGRAPH with the tent.
