New York, New York

Forgot to mention I am off to NYC to visit the family for about 10 days. They had moved a few months back, so this is my first time seeing the new apartment. The view is simply incredible. I wish the weather were a little better, but even on an overcast day it’s nice to be able to appreciate so much greenery in Manhattan. Apparently the land for Central Park was provisioned way back in the 1850s — talk about good foresight! This view is from Central Park South — the street that borders the “bottom” of the park — looking north. So for those who’ve visited NYC before, to the right is 5th Ave., and Columbus Circle is to the left. Carnegie Hall is two blocks south :)

Hey Matt! Makes me homesick to see pics of Central Park.

Sorry we didn’t meet up before you took off but we’ll reschedule once you return.

Dont leave without checking out Satellite Records on Bowery south of Houston!

Happy Birthday! No bombshelter food for you tonight. So what are you going to do? I recommend trying to get on The Tonight Show. Failing that, fall back to Andrew’s plan. Actually, hell, do both. I’m going to drink a bottle of Pepsi Twist & Suntory Gold in your honour tonight!
