Lost in Translation

Gen posted a few times about the recently released Sofia Coppola movie Lost In Translation, but I kept passing over them until I was hit with another reference to it on Nippon Gorogoro today. There’s also a 5-star praise if I’ve ever read one over at the New York Times. Following up on Gen’s postings and readings, I stumbled on this amusing interview, which then led me to this hilarious site. What a fantastic resource. Could someone be using their TiVo (er, Cocoon) for the ‘opposite’ purpose? For the Nicholas Cage ads referenced from the interview, check them out here.

As for the movie, I can’t wait to see how Japan is portrayed. It’s a whole other world out here, fun from Western tourist’s eyes. But live one year and it’s a whole other experience.

Digg! delicious
