Suwa and back

Made it out to the country house and back this past weekend. When I left Tokyo Friday afternoon, it was steaming hot. Then a typhoon sweeps just off the eastern coastline over the weekend, and now it’s definitely the cool fall weather I’ve been yearning for. I guess I’m just a fall-wardrobe kinda guy :) The insert is of a traditional house just down the street from ours; it used to house the area’s Mayor, or at least a politician. I didn’t get around to pictures of the family house this time around, unfortunately.
