Ginza Apple Store
Been a bit quiet lately due to a few late nights socializing and a bit of geekery. Panther is now officially on my home machine, and my notebook is noticebly faster. Soon it will be time to get a G5, maybe even walk home with it instead of having it shipped. I’m willing to be those who thought lines were long on opening day for key stores such as in Palo Alto and Manhattan may be in for a surprise.

Yeah, it might be fun to check out. But my guess is that there will be people camping out the night before, so I don’t know how hardcore I will be ;) If they have specials on a dual G5, I would be hard-pressed not to get one…

I’m traveling to Tokyo for the Ginza grand opening…what’s the word on what kind of ceremony they’ll have?

Gary, good question — i haven’t heard much in a while. my guess is they’ll do something like 10% off anything else if you buy a machine, or some such. Now, what would be really cool is if SJ showed up :)
