Sony vs Canon drawing close

Digital still cameras are doing rather well, as I would have expected. It’s reached a point where I am surprised when someone whips out a disposable at some party function. But I have to admit — more than once have I wanted that “disposable feel” over a pricy digital-button keyboard-like touch, especially when beer mugs are being tossed around. There’s just something gratifying to manually winding that skin-jarring wheel and hearing that plastic ‘click’. As much of a substitute something like the Sony DSC-T1 might be for a pocket-disposable Kodak or Fujifilm, there’s always the cheer-dampening extra caution needed when passing it around in a drunken stupor…

Digg! delicious
