DAJ Fundraiser at Roti

Family friend Bill Campbell runs Hotei Wines, and they’re helping out this week with the DAJ. Check it:

Democrats Abroad Japan is hosting a “Get out the vote” Wine & Jazz fundraising dinner at Roti in Roppongi this coming Thursday, May 27, at 7pm.

Chef Ian Tozer will be pulling out all the stops on the food side, there
will be live jazz by local greats Melting Pot, and our special guests for
the evening will be Rachelle Valladares, International Chair of Democrats
Abroad, and Development Chair Michael Lange. For those who need any more
convincing, Hotei will be pouring three of our favorite whites to start,
including:

- Brander au Naturel Sauvignon Blanc
- Jaffurs Viognier
- Mueller LB Chardonnay

Followed by a trifecta of stunning 1999 Cabernets:

- ‘99 Silver Oak Alexander Cabernet
- ‘99 Stag’s Leap FAY Cabernet (from our library)
- ‘99 Montelena Estate Cabernet (95 Parker points!)

Tickets are 25,000 yen each (remember, this is a fundraiser), and are
available from DAJ maven Lauren Shannon. To reserve, please email her
directly on lshannon@mikansolutions.jp
