Applizing the Family

I’ve been saying for the past month now that I’m hoping to get an iMac for the family living room once the Airport Express starts selling. I figured I would wait to see if a new iMac might be announced at WWDC, but obviously not. So I was amused to hear that in a first for Apple, iMacs were pre-announced to be released in September. Many are surprised about such an early announcement. But keen observers of the WWDC 2004 keynote, which you can watch here, may have noticed Jobs making the announcement subliminaly. Watch the section where he features the new Spotlight integrated searching technology. His first search term? “iMac”. Then, after opening up addressbook, his search term? “Paris”. The Mac Expo Paris is during the first week of September :) Of course, he left out searching for “G5″…
