Terrie’s Take

Terrie’s Take ML went out today – the website doesn’t seem to get updated; anyone know what’s up? Some good info regarding the economy from this month’s distro though. In particular:

Certainly a lot of other people are taking heart and putting their money where their hopes lie. It interesting to learn that almost 15,000 “Yakunin” companies have been formed in the last 18 months. You may recall that a yakunin company is a so-called “one yen” company, which can be started for as little as one yen (although only 670 people have actually chosen this amount as the paid in capital). When you realize that yakunin companies can only be started by someone with no prior business ownership experience, this is a good indicator that entrepreneurship is still alive and well.
