I am also interested to know how to burn a mix including the cross fade. iTunes seems to remove cross fade when you burn a CD. Any ideas?

You could capture the iTunes mix at it plays using Audio Hijack Pro and burn that to CD – I’ve put more about tips about doing it this way at my music mix site: http://www.spacebeats.net/submit.html
