Doom. 3. Whoa.

Uh oh. I thought I was done with computer games. Now, as if my social life wasn’t already in jeapordy with work and online projects, Doom3 (finally!) comes out. I remember freshman year in college initially being the only one who used the mouse playing DoomII/Quake/QuakeII. Floormates thought I was nuts. Of course, they sooned learned the wiser way after I kicked all their asses :)

Those screen shots are incredible. Looks like the G5 at work will be crunching through more cycles.

    hmm, playing Doom3 at work eh. nice :)

    i wonder just how badly it’ll run on my Dual 1GHz G4 with Radeon 9800.
    supposedly there’s hardly any benefit from dual-processors.
    but, they’re saying it can be played on 1.5GHz Powerbooks with way inferior video cards…
    guess i’ll be getting the next G5 revision with Tiger :)

    you played Doom2/Quake/Quake2 in the same year?
    furthermore, you can play Doom with a mouse?
