iTunes Music Store Japan

So iTunes Music Store finally hits Japan, and already in 4 days burps out 1 millions tunes. 4 days. And it’s a burp, given the over 500 million songs iTMS has sold globally. 1 millions tunes in 4 days, and that’s without one of the largest record labels’ library – Sony Music Entertainment Japan. Because SMEJ has been committed to their own online music platform, Mora. Mora – who has been trying to sell 1 millions tunes a month. A month. Mora has been trying to do this for over a year. A YEAR. Apple does it in 4 days.

SMEJ won’t kiss the bride because they’re the only child of traditional, conservative, grumpy parents who don’t want their offspring to wed a breed of a different race. Does the offspring follow true love, or custom? You decide – This Is Japan, afterall.
