Just to play the rogue speculator, I’m gonna gamble that part of it is going towards a deal with Apple; Google teaming up with the iTunes Music Store could prove a veritable challenge to Yahoo!’s growing music streaming services. Of course, Google could just have a smart finance team that decided now was a good time to exchange shares for hard currency.
