Pew Happiness Report
via W. David, his take on a recent Pew Research Center report on happiness around the globe. For Japan, this includes a relative displacement on education value, low views on birth control, and pessimistic outlook for Japan’s future generations.
I wish they would print at least the geographic areas within Japan in which they conducted the interviews. My guess is Tokyo residents’ views differ quite differently from those in Takayama or Fukuoka ;)
