From HTML tables to XHTML / CSS.  An impressive change for a site that feeds tens of millions of pages a day.  I’m curious to know if they’ve seen noticeable energy savings.

Surprise! ATRAC on its way out!

Sony’s Connect service, which saw its writing on the wall even before it was officially launched, is now officially shutting down.  And Sony’s longtime controversial proprietary audio codec ATRAC is headed to the trash.  Surprise, surprise :)

With only an increasing user base, Mac development has an exciting future.  The IndieHIG hopes to bring some consistency and clarity to one of Apple’s biggest strengths: clean and meaningful UIs.  Check out their IndieHIG Wiki and IndieHIG blog.  This is a great idea!
